Foxy Lady Creations

My passions are fashion, in particular the '60s and '70s and caring for the environment, so my blogs are about slow fashion, reclaiming textiles, and fashion history. With articles about how I reclaim materials, and what I do with them. Foxy Lady is the name of my home, a narrow boat, from which I work (off grid) on the Kennet & Avon Canal in Newbury, West Berks, UK

About Foxy Lady

Foxy Lady Creations is me, boat dweller Sarah Mackfall, a Generation Xer, mum of one.I have been sewing since I was 15, and have worked in various areas of the fashion industry. I launched Foxy Lady Creations in 2016, a sewing emporium on my boat where I live on the Kennet & Avon Canal. Here I produce original and unique items made from reclaimed, vintage or remnant cloth, off-grid using solar power (most of the year). I am on a journey to do as least damage to the environment as I can in this modern world. I am actively involved with environmental campaigning. I would describe my style as boho hippy chic, with a bit of utility thrown in the mix
