Yesterday was a great day, the willow sculpture at my daughters school, which I instigated and helped construct had its grand opening (slight exaggeration, Polly (my neighbour - Willow Monkey Design) said a couple of words and cut some tape. However, we should be featured in the Newbury Weekly News. I was briefly interviewed be the press, when I was asked how I knew Polly, I said "I live with her" - woops, "I mean, she my neighbour". When one lives communally, as we do, we often talk as "we" as opposed to "I". chuckle chuckle.
Anyway, heres a photo of the Finished product (which when we get an aerial view from a Drone, should look like 50, to commemorate Robert Sandilands 50 Year anniversary

Hand made banner great idea, no harmful substances and plastics used. #eco #environmentally friendly #friend of the earth #genius
ReplyDeleteThanks very much, I like the #friendoftheearth I will use that from now on.Apart from the fact the banner is useable time and time again, rainproof, its made from unwanted remnants, in this case the letters were made from upholstery sample books; you can easily roll them up, put them in your pocket ready for a demo
