My amazing Captain has made me new benches and a table. |
My passions are fashion, in particular the '60s and '70s and caring for the environment, so my blogs are about slow fashion, reclaiming textiles, and fashion history. With articles about how I reclaim materials, and what I do with them. Foxy Lady is the name of my home, a narrow boat, from which I work (off grid) on the Kennet & Avon Canal in Newbury, West Berks, UK
Roast Dinner Ala new front deck furniture
I am so proud of our new editions to the boat. Our front deck will look tidy, and its almost like having another room. Richard has designed and made it all himself. (as he has done with most of our interior). The table folds down when you dont need it and the seats are also steps to get on and off easily and storage. The bench on the right is also a guinea pig hotel for when we are cruising, photos to come (its awesome). Sometimes when we travel, we may moor up on a thin towpath so if you wanted to sit outside you have to keep moving out of the way for dog walkers and cyclists. Sometimes we may be moored up on a cow field, and personally they scare me, but now, when sit in style on our front deck. Looking forward to Friday nights, with Pizza and wine, then playing games on our new table. Just big enough for my little family.
