My passions are fashion, in particular the '60s and '70s and caring for the environment, so my blogs are about slow fashion, reclaiming textiles, and fashion history. With articles about how I reclaim materials, and what I do with them. Home Made Candles
Hi, been busy boating now the school holidays have started, its been lovely (weather could have been a bit better, but thats life, we still enjoy it). Im not going to be doing much, sewing in the holidays, but can catch up on little craft things that Mia can get involved with too. After the Newbury By Pass reunion, my tin of candles was left outside for a day or two and melted in the sun, so I had mass destruction in my tin. So yesterday, me and Mia got to work melting it down and creating some new ones, we used dyes and she scented them with essential oils. We were quite proud of our handmade produce.

Great idea, they look lovely, resourceful and useful. Will save my used candles and have a go myself. Thanks, love the blog
