Hi there. Today I would like to share something that I have found revolutionary for me and my beauty routine (ha, I dont really have a beauty routine, but I do moisturise daily. I hear my mum saying, "and dont forget to do your neck").
I felt guilty for a long time, worrying about the packaging that is used for beauty products and toiletries. What could I use that has least impact on the environment, is kind to my skin, is not tested on animals, and doesnt cost an arm and a leg?
Well finally I got round to using the all round versatile product that is coconut oil. I bought this jar in January for £5.00, and its still half full. Its glass so easily reusable or recyclable, its cheap, and I like the way it feels on my skin.
I add the essential oil Neroli to mine (as its meant to be good for older skin *sighs*), and sometimes I add a bit of lemongrass for a zing. Make sure in hot weather to keep it in the fridge as it melts. Most essential oils are ok on your skin, but please research before doing this. So I am fully converted now. I would be interested to hear what ethical, eco, moisturizers you use. Namaste
That is really interesting, I will try it when a well known health food store has it on offer. By the way can you see a difference in your neck, let me know. Thanks for your blog, really enjoy it. Have a nice day.
